Abstract

|
Common neurotologic findings of cerebellopontine angle tumor are Bruns nystagmus and hyperventilation-induced nystagmus. The periodic alternating nystagmus from meningioma in cerebellopontine angle has not been reported. We experienced the patient with tentorial meningioma in cerebellopontine angle who showed periodic alternating nystagmus. This observation emphasizes the periodic alternating nystagmus can be observed in cerebellopontine angle tumor in addition to well-known nystagmus; Bruns nystagmus and hyperventilation-induced nystagmus.
